26 Mar Prayer Closet Survives Tornado
An Alabama woman’s prayer closet was the only thing left standing after a tornado swept through her area and leveled her home.
The unidentified woman’s home was almost totally destroyed earlier this month after a devastating tornado hit Lee County.
Jason Smith, a volunteer with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, was on hand to help with those affected by the tornado and came across the woman’s home with just her prayer closet intact.
“Listen to me please. I just left a family who survived the tornado in this house and the only left standing is this closet. It’s the grandmother’s prayer closet, and the whole family survived. Are you kiddin me!!! My God is awesome!!!” he wrote in the caption with the photos.
