02 Mar The Life and Legacy of Billy Graham
So thankful we were able to go to the Billy Graham Library this week and pay our final respects to Billy Graham. It’s not a sad event when someone goes into the presence of God, but it is sad that#AmericasPastor is no longer here to advise and counsel–but this in turn is a wonderful opportunity for the Church to rise up!
This also highlights the importance of discipleship, which is the reason the legacy and work of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will continue!
It was an absolute honor to be just two of the thousands to walk on those grounds this week to show the Graham family how much they mean to Christians around the world. It was a somber moment to look at the simply made casket holding this bold preacher–and to see it with my own eyes after seeing it all week on TV.
Franklin Graham’s son, Roy, was standing at the door by the casket shaking hands and thanking everyone for being there and showing their love to his grandfather.
What a cool moment…it is one I will treasure forever.
