13 Feb Gabe’s Pepperoni Roses
My wife, Leslie, and I have a standing Valentine’s Day tradition of making pepperoni roses. Even though Valentine’s Day 2018 will only be the third year of it, it started the year we were dating. I knew she was coming over that evening to hang out with my roommates and I, so I just told her I had a surprise for us to cook together. The first picture above is from that evening, and the other is from Valentine’s Day 2017, our first year being married. Although it’s an incredibly easy dinner–and far from fancy, we loved it and had a lot of fun making it together–and because of that, we decided it was worthy of making it a Duncan family Valentine’s Day tradition. All you need is canned pizza crust, pepperoni, pizza/marinara sauce, and shredded cheese. Here’s a video link so you get it just right.
