My husband’s job has been the cause of a lot of heartache for both of us. He works the night shift, and I work days. The biggest issue right now is a female employee who was hired at the beginning of the year when we were having some serious marital issues. She pursued him, and he left me for a couple of weeks to be with her. He even rented a place with her. We had not been communicating our feelings to each other, and both believed that the other no longer loved us. We started talking and discovered a lot of things the enemy had convinced us were lies. We shared how we do love each other and cried and shared our hearts with each other. I forgave him, and we got back together. I had promised I would not throw the affair up in his face because he had asked me to trust him if he came back, but I believe she is still chasing after him because I have noticed a couple of times she is parked right next to him (he is there earlier than she is). I have not said anything to him because I promised to trust him, but it is really stressing me out. I pray every single day and am a believer in Jesus. I keep trusting in God for saving our marriage, healing of our marriage, my heart, his heart, and driving her memory from his heart and mind, but if she won't get another job like she said she would, it's going to make it a huge challenge. I do believe in the power of prayer and that “with God, all things are possible.”
Many of our issues from before the affair stemmed from us working different schedules along with the heavy toll of his exhaustion from working tons of hours and not spending much time together. I am seeking prayer for healing of our marriage, for God to save this woman’s soul, to make her leave my husband alone, for him to be given a day shift job so we can be together more and for God to send this woman her own unmarried man that she can fall in love with and be loved by.
