PRAYER WALL

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
– Philippians 4:6-7

Below you can submit a prayer request and our team of prayer warriors, and listeners who are passionate about others, will make sure to lift you up in prayer! Every prayer request that is submitted will be seen and prayed for by our team, even if you choose for it not to appear on the prayer wall.

I'm in the midst of a housing crisis as a disabled senior. The Lord provided a mobile home to rent this past month and a different one in the same complex to move into tomorrow. I signed the new lease last night via email. I was supposed to meet with the landlord this afternoon to give him the money orders. I let him know I was leaving to go to the grocery store I would come back to give it to him. He seemed hesitant as he was in the middle of something but said okay. When I was done in the grocery store I called him and asked him if he would prefer I come now or grocery shop first. He said to go ahead and Shop first and then come and let him know. It was raining here so I did get very wet going in and out twice. After I got my car loaded I called him and told him I was on my way. He said let's just do this tomorrow when I give you the keys. I said I'm not available tomorrow, as I have a great deal to do and I have friends coming over to help me. Well I can meet you at the house when you're moving in he said. I'm not comfortable with that at all so I simply said no, that's not possible because my friends have very limited time to help me and we need to stay focused on what we're doing. He then said he could come by my house earlier. As I said as I explained previously I do have quite a lot of health challenges and that's not going to work for me. He insisted on doing this tomorrow so I let it go. I had to go back into the grocery store for a third time because I was rushing and didn't get everything I needed and got very soaked. I went to go do my rehab and by the time I got done I simply have no time for my errands because of the mix-up with the landlord. I got back to the complex earlier than expected and my friend told me to drive over to the landlord's house and try to give him the money. When I got there I called him and he said he wasn't at his house at that time. I asked if there was a time he could meet me this evening and he again said let's just do it tomorrow. I said I'm not available tomorrow. I said Is there a time you can do it later or I'll have to have my friend meet you tomorrow. He said are you not moving into my unit tomorrow? I said I'll have to have my friend meet you if it's going to be tomorrow. Again he repeated are you not moving into my unit tomorrow? I simply stated I never said that. I said I'll have my friend meet you. And said goodbye. I'm concerned about waiting for my friend to get here after work because he's never certain exactly what time he's going to get off and by that time the landlord might not be available right when we need to get the key and give him the money orders. I'm concerned that if I wait for my friend to get here the landlord might not be available at that time which will hold my friend up. I'm very upset with this landlord because on Sunday he was all christ-like after learning we went to the same church and was willing to do anything for me. Suddenly he turned into the ex-cop that he is and put everything back on me instead of accommodating me or at least explaining why he couldn't do it today other than rain. I need the Lord's wisdom on how to handle him tomorrow. I'm thinking of trying to get in touch with him earlier and asking him if he can come by at a specific time for a few minutes to grab the money orders and give me the keys. Unfortunately during the day I suffer with a tremendous amount of pain, exhaustion and cognitive impairment and my focus really needs to be preparing for when my friends come with packing and lists of what I need their help with. I just don't need the stress of having to also meet up with the landlord. Please pray but the Lord will soften his heart and give him a heart of compassion, understanding and patience. Thank you so much for your prayers. May the Lord richly bless you.
