Please pray for my son who was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2021 at age 20. It has been a journey for us and he is in denial of course. Went off medication for awhile and had another psychotic break in April. He is showing tendencies to not be compliant again. He was laid off of work and struggling to find a job. He abuses marijuana also and this adds to everything else. He would have been the last one I would have thought would struggle with substance abuse but it is prevalent in majority of the kids he went to school with from an early age. I feel his mental health issues have stemmed from it despite his diagnosis. There is not good mental health care for him and he refuses counseling. He has his life ahead of him. He professes to know Christ and grew up in church but he won’t break the cycle he’s in. He’s bright and creative but in such a battle with Satan. This mama heart is struggling also.
