Prayer for brother
I am requesting prayers for my brother (age 83.) He was sent from his independent-living apartment to the hospital in Philadelphia yesterday morning.
My niece Terri sent the following text late in the afternoon:
"Here's what we know so far-- his liver and kidney levels are extremely elevated, causing them to not function properly. We are waiting for the results of a CAT scan to see what the cause is. In the meantime, he is being transferred to the ICU at Einstein, where he will receive dialysis and see kidney and liver specialists. He's lucid, but uncomfortable from lying in bed for so long. I'll keep you posted as I get more info..."
