Join renowned theological scholars and historians for presentations and discussions regarding the religious context of Virginia in 1619, its impact on people of color, and the evolution of a religious and culturally diverse United States in the 21st century.

Faith Journeys in the Black Experience: 1619-2019 is a two-day event featuring presentations and panel discussions with historians, scholars, and political leaders. All events are free and open to the public.

On Wednesday evening, March 20, enjoy Reflections of the Past: Songs from the African American Journey, a concert featuring historian Wisteria Perry and the Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church Youth Choir.
