When we first moved into our home, we had a shed delivered so the mower would have a home. Before they began to build they asked if we wanted it wired for power. Yes! We knew that one day we would want the ability to turn on a light. Yet for 2 years, it sat powerless because we hadn’t run the electric lines out to it.
If you’re feeling less than powerful today, don’t feel alone. The early church in Acts needed to be reminded too. We need to be reminded, at least I do, that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, the same power that rolled away the stone, the same power that split the Red Sea, placed stars in the heavens and caused a blind man to see, inhabits my soul! When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, he deposits the Holy Spirit into us. But there are days we forget. We fumble around in the dark, trying to do things on our own.
Just like our shed, the power line has been connected! The Light is there! It is accessible! Today, rediscover His Power!
